Pursuing creative passions in life requires bravery and vulnerability. Over eight weeks, I documented my process in learning pottery and setting up a home studio. I hope that by sharing my experiences, I might inspire someone else to learn a new craft, share their passion, and embark on their crafted adventure. Within this story, I share the little moments along with the big, the sounds and textures of the studio, and the tidbits of wisdom I’ve found in clay. This journey is shared through an online narrative with written, visual, and video storytelling methods. There are six chapters to explore— each one drawing a connection between a stage of pottery to an insight learned. The goal of these chapters is to spark and invigorate a sense of adventure in all who hope to pursue new creative passions.
