In the last 10 weeks, I set out on a journey to understand the very subject of creativity as I often felt in a rut and needed to know what other amazing people are doing. This curiosity led me to interview twelve people— friends and strangers— of different ages and occupations, and not necessarily in the creative industry. I asked them a set of similar questions, some philosophical, some silly, and some curated more towards who they are and what they do. I felt overlaps yet observed plenty of differences. This 52-page issue features their lives and creative advice... such as how to snowboard with style, what the heck you’re supposed to do when your mind goes blank, a feature on what it’s like to lead a pop-rock group, and short inspirational stories. The whole process of interviews and creating this publication has been one that I know will value and cherish thanks to all the lovely people who shared a piece of their life with me. Creative Juices started with an ambitious idea that turned into a smaller, personal topic that became mine. Thanks for checking it out!
