If a book was sentient, what would it say? Maybe a better question to ask: Why can it think and feel in the first place? Mensch is an interactive mystery book that explores the purpose of a soul and the vessels one can inhabit. This project subverts expectations of a typical novel by using experimental typography and illustration to form a strangely personal relationship between book and reader. The book's soul is best captured in the physical form, but if you want to read a digital copy in all its skeuomorphic glory, you can find it on my portfolio site. Otherwise, there are photos of the project below. Just beware of spoilers.
