Women in the food industry have experienced many obstacles from sexual harassment to people calling them “difficult” for not being agreeable to even facing another layer of racial prejudice for women of color. We thought what was beautiful about women in the food industry was that they formed a community amongst themselves and supported each other. For this project, we decided to design for a fictitious conference named Nourish. Nourish’s goal is to celebrate women who face prejudice and share their recipes of success. It takes place in the summer of 2022 in San Francisco.
