With Love is a publication about my family. I wanted to delve into memories and stories about each 'main playing' member and build connections to those who have passed and for future generations. This publication is to share my appreciation and spark heartfelt remembrances for how each of my relatives has impacted my life. While this may be catered to my family experience I hope any reader may turn away from this book with a newfound appreciation for their family as well. Organized through the different generations and my personal understanding of our history, With Love holds 5 sections, 16 members, and 390 pages in total. The title, 'With Love' comes from common phrases you hear around family like, "Made with love" or "I yelled at you... With love," or "I made you burnt cookies... With love." It's also a common ending to letters you might receive from a loved one. This publication is a LONG love letter to my family to show my appreciation and spark thoughtful conversations about the motley stories, experiences, and artifacts we might overlook when we get together. At each ending of almost every member's section, there is a handwritten letter addressed to them and at the very end, there is a letter addressed to you too. So, come listen in on the stories that we share. Feel the tightness of your pants after the third helping my grandmother has dished for you. I’ll let you in on a secret, if you listen close enough you may hear snippets of the past. Faint memories that have materialized from the depths of a conversation. These moments are ephemeral so hurry and make the most of them before they fade. Hold steady and strong to them for new ones are on the rise and nostalgia tastes sweeter with a story. It’s okay if you weren’t able to catch it, that is what this is for. With Love is for you, it's for me, it's for them...
